REFUND POLICY

This Refund Policy applies to all training programmes provided by TST Education, including Classroom Learning, eLearning, Virtual Learning, and Blended Learning.
By enrolling in any programme, learners and sponsoring organisations confirm that they have read, understood, and agreed to the terms set out below.


1. Classroom Learning (Face-to-Face Training)

1.1 Eligibility for Refund

Refunds for Classroom Learning are subject to the following conditions:

100% refund if cancellation is made at least 14 calendar days before the course start date
50% refund if cancellation is made 7–13 calendar days before the course start date
No refund if cancellation is made less than 7 calendar days before the course start date


1.2 Non-Refundable Cases

No refund will be issued in the following cases:

• Failure to attend the course (no-show)
• Removal from the course due to misconduct or breach of course rules
• Course materials, manuals, or access credentials have already been issued


1.3 Course Transfer

In place of a refund, learners may request a one-time transfer to a future Classroom course, subject to availability and approval, provided the request is made before the course start date.


2. eLearning (Self-Paced Online Learning)

2.1 Eligibility for Refund

Due to the digital nature of eLearning programmes:

• Refund requests must be submitted within 7 calendar days of enrolment
No refund will be granted once any of the following has occurred:
– Access to course content
– LMS login activity recorded
– Progress tracking initiated
– Downloadable materials accessed


2.2 Non-Refundable Fees

The following fees are strictly non-refundable:

• Examination fees
• Registration or administrative fees
• Fees paid to external awarding bodies or third-party providers


3. Virtual Learning (Live Online Instructor-Led Training)

3.1 Eligibility for Refund

Refunds for Virtual Learning are subject to the following conditions:

100% refund if cancellation is made at least 10 calendar days before the course start date
50% refund if cancellation is made 5–9 calendar days before the course start date
No refund if cancellation is made less than 5 calendar days before the course start date


3.2 Non-Refundable Cases

No refund will be issued if:

• The learner fails to attend live sessions
• Partial attendance has already occurred
• Course materials or LMS access has been provided


4. Blended Learning (Combined Online and Instructor-Led Training)

Blended Learning programmes include both digital and instructor-led components and are therefore subject to stricter refund conditions.

4.1 Eligibility for Refund

• Refund requests must be submitted before access to any online content and before the first instructor-led session
• Once any component of the programme has started, no refund will be issued


4.2 Alternative Options

At TST Education’s discretion, learners may be offered:

• A transfer to a future cohort
• A credit note for use on another programme


5. Examination and Awarding Body Fees

All fees paid to external awarding bodies are strictly non-refundable, regardless of training format.

This includes, but is not limited to:

• Exam registration fees
• Resit fees
• Certificate issuance fees
• Late registration, amendment, or withdrawal fees


6. Use of Third Parties (Registration, LMS, Activities, and Assessments)

TST Education may engage third-party organisations, platforms, or service providers to support training delivery, administration, activities, assessments, or certification.

These may include:

• External awarding bodies
• Third-party Learning Management Systems (LMS)
• Examination or assessment platforms
• Online proctoring services
• Assignment or activity submission portals


6.1 Registration via Third Parties

Where a learner or organisation registers through a third party:

• Refunds are subject to both this Refund Policy and the third party’s terms and conditions
• Any fees paid directly to a third party are non-refundable by TST Education
• TST Education is not responsible for delays, errors, or restrictions imposed by third-party systems


6.2 LMS Access and Course Activities

Once a learner has been granted access to:

• A third-party LMS
• Online learning materials
• Activities, assignments, or assessments

the course is deemed to have commenced, and:

No refund will be issued for consumed training services
• This applies regardless of whether activities are completed, partially completed, or not submitted


6.3 Activities and Assessments via Third-Party Platforms

Where activities or assessments are completed or attempted on third-party platforms:

• All submissions and attempts are final, non-reversible, and non-refundable
• Technical issues related to the learner’s device, internet connection, or misuse of the platform do not constitute grounds for a refund
• Learners are responsible for understanding submission requirements, deadlines, and platform instructions


6.4 Third-Party Examination Fees

All third-party examination and assessment fees are strictly non-refundable, including:

• Initial examination fees
• Resit or reattempt fees
• Late change or amendment fees

This applies even if the learner:

• Withdraws from the course
• Fails to submit required activities
• Fails or does not attend the examination


6.5 Data Sharing and System Records

By enrolling, learners acknowledge and agree that:

• Personal data may be shared with third parties solely for training, assessment, and certification purposes
• LMS logs, activity records, timestamps, and access history may be used to determine course commencement and refund eligibility


6.6 Limitation of Liability

TST Education shall not be liable for:

• Downtime or technical failures of third-party platforms
• Policy changes imposed by awarding bodies or external providers
• Financial loss resulting from third-party decisions or system limitations


7. Refund Process

• All refund requests must be submitted in writing via email to: info@tsteducation.com
• Requests must include:
– Learner full name
– Course title and learning format
– Proof of payment
– Reason for cancellation

• Approved refunds will be processed within 14–21 working days
• Refunds will be made using the original payment method, where possible


8. Course Cancellation by TST Education

If TST Education cancels or postpones a course, learners may choose:

• A full refund, or
• Transfer to an alternative course date

No compensation will be provided for indirect costs such as travel, accommodation, or personal expenses.


9. Policy Precedence and Updates

Where a conflict arises between:

• This Refund Policy
• Third-party terms and conditions
• Awarding body regulations

The most restrictive policy shall apply.

TST Education reserves the right to amend this Refund Policy at any time.
The latest published version on the official website or LMS shall prevail.
